- My Story -

About

Hello there!

I am a southern rooted girl exploring the mountains. I'm a quick learner and get bored if I am not doing something new. What sets me apart from the main stream, is as an artist I love to capture the moments between moments. Those times are often the ones that stand out in our souls and memories for years to come. My goal is to capture these beautifully authentic moments in stylistic perfection, for my audience to embrace again and again. This is felt through portrait and nature photography alike.

I do this by taking on a child-like wonder of the world again, I began to see all the things I had forgotten to enjoy and started seeing those moments again. When my eyes where open, my soul was filled with the purpose to share these special moments with all.

Now lets get to know each other little more, for its far more fun working with friends then strangers. I go by Jessica Christine as my artist identity.  For my middle name (Christine) is a three generation tradition of the first born daughters on my mothers side to carry this middle name. It is a tradition that will carry on.
Before stepping back into my true passion of art, I became a Ballet dancer with The Royal Academy for ten years and believed that would be my profession until an unfortunate injury. After some time in recovery I picked up my camera again and began to remember my true love for creating.  The wonderful memories of me playing with my Barbie film camera as a child flooded back and I started my career in Art from that moment on. I attend John Brown University in Arkansas graduating with a Double Bachelor of Science Degree in Photography and Graphic Design, with a Double Minor in Cinema Photography and Family Counseling.

The Adventure Awaits

Save It. Love It. Live It.

Make Someone Smile Today.

Coming out of my own passion for nature I found myself drawn to creating this Gallery collection; Explore, Expand, Embrace, and Enjoy. When I am not working, I am at outdoor concerts, doing acro yoga, camping, hiking, or exploring the mountains. I believe we have the responsibility to do our part in keeping nature clean and protected. We must put love back into nature, just as it has shown us love with ground for our homes, food for our bodies, and air for our survival. Join me in embracing Nature once again.
